Training & Technical Assistance

Independence Unlimited works with the community to build communities and relationships where every-
one is able to reach their full potential.

For employers: ADA and awareness training The Americans with Disabilities Act mandates equal access and equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities. We provide training and updates on best practices for providing accommodation, recruitment and hiring, including review of employers Policy and Procedure Manuals and periodic site visits to ensure compliance.

For individuals: We recognize that a work/life balance is critical to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That’s why we work with faith communities to create an inclusive and welcoming environment to all.

At Independence Unlimited, we understand that visiting and navigating fast-food restaurants can be difficult for the disability community. And sometimes, navigating into the building is even more challenging (especially for individuals with sensory disabilities) than ordering at the drive-up window Independence Unlimited provides services to local franchise operators to more effectively serve the disability community and increase their customer base.
